Dr. Mickey Alex Saffold was born in Dothan, Alabama to Pastor Johnny C. Saffold and Ernestine Saffold. He is united in holy matrimony to Dr. Youwonna Saffold.

Dr. Saffold has served faithfully in ministry from a young age. The Lord called him to serve in ministry in 1996 and preach the Gospel in 1998. Dr. Saffold has served numerous men of God while on this journey and walks in a spirit of humility like non other. The Lord quickly exalted Pastor Saffold through servitude and the call God had placed on his life. In 2001 he was ordained a Elder, he was quickly exalted in the Spirit of the Lord to Pastor. Pastor Saffold retired from 23 years of military service from the United States Army and was led by the Lord to start a spiritual work in Columbus, Georgia where he serves faithfully with a spirit of integrity as Senior Pastor and Founder of the Zion Dominion Christian Center, Columbus, Georgia.

Dr. Saffold has and does serve in every capacity as a humble servant of the Lord. He has a great burden for souls and therefore is a man after God’s own heart. His life and walk with the Lord goes before him. He is the voice, hand, arms and the eyes that God uses to encourage and empower every one he comes into contact with. He believes that “Whom much is given, much is required” and that God has a plan and a purpose for your life that you should not live from crisis to crisis, but from faith to faith in the power of the Lord.

On November 17, 2006, Dr. Saffold Earned a Doctors Degree in Christology from Interfaith University, Macon, Georgia. Dr. Saffold is a dedicated and loving father to three (3) children, David, Quantesa, Darea, and (1) granddaughter.
