WATER BAPTISM
The experience of Water Baptism is encouraged for all who have accepted
Jesus as Savior. The act of immersion is documented in Scripture
as the pattern that Christ asked us to follow. We believe in Water
Baptism as an outward identification of salvation, identification
with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Water Baptism
classes are held one week prior to Water Baptism services.
COMMUNION
The celebration of Communion is a symbolic reenactment of Jesus'
distribution and comments during the Last Passover Feast which He
celebrated prior to His death and resurrection. The elements of
juice and unleavened bread are symbolic of His shed blood and "broken"
body. The celebration of Communion is open to all who have accepted
Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
BABY DEDICATION
The Baby Dedication Service is a symbolic act of parents giving
their child to God. Recognizing him to be God's gift to them, the
child is then returned to the parents with the responsibility of
raising that child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
